Hace tiempo uno de mis lectores me pidió que hablase sobre el Preppy Style.
Pues bien esta tendencia comenzó en los 50, la misma que únicamentebusaban los estudiantes Élite de Secundaria y aquellos que acudían a la Universidad, pero cuando en verdad se popularizó este estilo fue a finales de los 70 y principios de los 80. Tiene como inspiración el Estilo Náutico,mezclando la ropa casual con un estilo deportivo.
Polo Raph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, Elizabeth McKay, Brooks Brothers, Tommy Hilfiger entre otros son las mayores casas de producción de prendas del Preppy Style.

Well this trend began in the 50, the same as they used only Elite High School students and those who
went to college, but when in truth this style was popularized the end of the 70's and early 80's. Has as inspiration the Navy Style,mixing casual clothing whit sports style.
